Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corp. (EITC) was founded
on September 1, 1973. It had formerly operated under the name of
Everglory Transport Corporation. The initial business focused on
inland container haulage service for shipping and trade-related
industries. In 1986, the Ministry of Economic Affairs approved the
company's name change to Evergreen Transport Corporation. It was
publicly listed on the stock market in 1990 after several capital
injections.
In line with the government policy, it progressively consolidated
with other members of the Evergreen Group to form a complete service
network. Operating costs have been reduced and efficiency boosted by
sharing of resources.
An Evergreen Transport Corp.
shareholders' meeting in September 2001 agreed to a merger with
Evergreen Container Terminal Corp. to form Evergreen International
Storage & Transport Corp. The amalgamation came into effect on March
31, 2002. In June 2002, another shareholders’ meeting resolved to
merge with Uniglory Marine Corporation. The new amalgamation began
operations on November 1 in the same year. In May 2003, the company
merged with Evervoyage Transport Corporation.
These vertical integrations have resulted in the formation of a
company with a wide business spectrum covering land, sea and
air-related service fields on --warehousing, inland haulage,
logistics, marine terminal stevedoring, marine ships chartering,
passenger transportation, motor vehicle inspection station, gas
station, vehicle maintenance and repair,etc.
Serving customers
all over Taiwan, the Company set up its headquarter in Taoyuan,
trucking branch offices in Taichung and Kaohsiung, container
terminals in Shichih, Taoyuan, Taichung Port, as well as wharf
warehousing at Kaohsiung Port.
Together, the headquarters, branch offices, inland container
terminals and marine terminals form a comprehensive transportation
service network covering inland container terminal operations, port
stevedoring, warehousing, trucking transportation and logistics
operations. With its own strong fleet of vehicles, EITC has flexibly
formed a reliable service link between the marine terminal, wharf
warehousing, inland container terminal, and the door-service
customers.
After solid integration of inland container haulage, warehousing,
container terminal and stevedoring, etc., EITC further actively
promote international logistics business. By virtue of ship
chartering, container terminal, warehousing, inland haulage business
and other consistent high quality services to strengthen our
competitiveness in the market, EITC assures the customers a safe,
smooth and cost-effective quality service.
Besides, Dayuan Logistics Park was established and launched
officially in 2022. The park offers modern warehousing and office
spaces, providing ideal solutions for logistics and retail
businesses. Equipped with solar power facilities and EV charging
stations, the park has obtained a Bronze Green Building
certification. While delivering high-quality storage services, we
also uphold our commitment to sustainability and environmental
responsibility.
