EITC has well-designed container terminals in the vicinity of the freeway interchanges and industrial zones of Taoyuan and Shichih. Every container yard is well equipped to provide unrivalled levels of efficient service. It also boasts wharf warehousing in the fourth and fifth container terminal at Kaohsiung harbor. The container yard and warehouse resources are woven into an islandwide service network that offers safety and convenience. It provides container haulage, customs clearance, warehousing and logistics related services to upstream and downstream freight-transporting industry members -- shipping companies, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, customs brokers, customs houses, trucking and logistics industries.

Lifting operations and control of inbound and outbound containers

Inbound laden containers are transported from the port to the inland container terminal, where they are inspected, weighed and stored in the laden container import zone. After customs inspection, containers are either devanned at the import warehouse or kept ready for the customer to pick up. Following delivery by the customer, outbound laden containers are inspected and transferred to the laden container export zone. After customs clearance, outbound containers are processed for exit by the control station and transported to the port. Empty containers are moved to the empty container zone for re-use or to the maintenance zone for cleaning and repairing.

Warehousing and inspection of inbound container cargos

Inbound CY containers chosen for random inspection are devanned at the inspection warehouse and re-sealed following customs inspection. Inbound CFS containers are shifted to the inbound warehouse, where the processing clerk directs cargo devanning. After an inventory is taken, the cargo is stored awaiting pickup by customer.

Warehousing of LCL outbound cargos

After arriving at the warehouse, outbound CFS cargos are registered, measured and stored. Following clearance and inspection of documents, a stuffing list is made up and given to the processing agent for guiding forklift operators and workers to proceed stuffing as instructed.

Operations of bonded warehouse.

Inbound CFS containers are shifted to the bonded warehouse, for devanning and temporary storing, same service applied to inbound cargos being delivered under customs' escort from other bonded area. EITC provides simple processing, labeling and other services and also offers re-export handling or pick-out services after duty has been paid.

Warehousing in the distribution center (DC)

For customers' choice, EITC currently provides two kinds of operation modes, "leasing" or "EITC-operating" for distribution center service. Our non-customs joint locked warehouse is convenient and secure. The logistics companies can either lease for self-operating DC or assign EITC to operate DC service.
