Our mission

The rainforest is home to many rare species, and it is disappearing at an alarming rate of ten million hectares every year. Since the industrial revolution, the exploitation of the environment has caused a significant increase in carbon dioxide emissions which cause the greenhouse effect and global warming.

These conditions are causing the global sea level to rise, glaciers to melt, rare species to become extinct, and the weather to become more extreme. Climate change has become the most serious international environmental issue in the 21st century.

Governments and conservation groups are currently inexhaustibly doing everything in order to wake up the world's attention. They are promoting the signing of the relevant conventions and regulations to prevent the situation continuing to deteriorate, in addition to actively promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction policies, while strengthening international cooperation to promote carbon international market standards, ensuring environmental, economic and social sustainability.

Evergreen International Storage and Transportation Corporation (EITC) is a member of the Evergreen Group. Whilst pursuing business growth, it also takes responsibilities to protect environment, such as by reducing carbon emissions to preserve a sustainable living environment for our posterity.
